Christmas Orders - only a few birds remaining (as of 20th Nov)

If you would like to order a Christmas Turkey, Goose or Duck, then please email or phone Catherine (07790 525984) so that your order can be noted, and we can discuss all your requirements. Please ensure that you order early as we only keep a limited number of Christmas Birds. We look forward to hearing from you. 

Our Christmas birds are all slaughtered on site and hung in our cold room for 5 days, then they are plucked and dressed by ourselves. They are then vacuum packed to ensure that they remain in the very best of condition for your Christmas Dinner.  All those who purchased a Christmas bird for 2010 have since contacted us to compliment us on the quality of the bird! If you would like your bird delivered, please feel free to contact us to discuss the possibility. Alternatively, you are welcome to come and visit us at the farm and while you are here, you are more than welcome to have a look around at the other animals that we keep. Or, you may prefer to visit our stand at the BIG Sheep Farmers Market on the last Wednesday before Christmas.

As well as the Turkeys, Geese and Ducks, we also have a limited number of chickens available for those of you with a slightly smaller appetite!

Our birds are kept in a free-range environment and the Geese, Ducks and Chickens all roam happily together. On occasion, the Geese have been known to wander into the horses' paddocks to see if their grass is better than the grass in the Poultry Paddock! They have two ponds to play in and corn is available to them ad lib. We keep two groups of Geese and two groups of Turkeys so that we can deal with most orders from an 8lb Turkey to a 15lb Goose. We pride ourselves on producing a quality bird that has benefited from a lot of individual attention on a regular basis. This we achieve because we only keep the number of birds that we know that we can cope with - we never overstock to meet demand!
